The Last Post of 2008

The year is almost over, with 18 minutes left to go. I'm just not all that excited, because a new year means another six months of school. Some people, like me, in the school system are corrupted by the weird years, and do not fully appreciate the start of a new year.

Stuffed Animals

My brother got bored and put all of the stuffed animals together. The animals that don't really fit in the picture are Garfield and the monkey, because the rest are dogs or sea animals.

Organizing Pictures

Right now I'm organizing a year's worth of pictures and videos. I have been spoiled by having three 4 GB SD cards, so I've been taking pictures without moderation. So far, it totals 58.8 GB (62,966,845,709 bytes), and around 7000 pictures and videos. Uploading all of these pictures and videos to Flickr of Google Video or some other place is going to take a long time with my DSL connection. However, my family wants a hard copy of some pictures published to a book or something. I was thinking more along the lines of just blogging the pictures, either here or somewhere else. But first, I should continue arraging pictures into their proper folders.

Done uploading

My Internet connection got interrupted this morning. The Google Video upload program stopped at 80% done for some reason, so I had to resume it.

The pictures made it to Flickr and Google Video by 10:30, approximately. Now I have to upload another batch of pictures and video...

Slow Internet Upload Speeds

Right now, I'm uploading 709.0 MB worth of videos to Google Video and 536.28 MB worth of pictures (and videos) to Flickr. It's 01:04 right now, and if the Internet connection doesn't die on me, it should be done before I wake up mañana.
